    And against Tampa Bay!

Perfect games are rare and priceless.

Great to see a solid veteran pitcher have such a great moment. And, it was his second lifetime no-hitter.

    Cominskey Field?

Unfortunately, Cominskey Field (or Comiskey Park as the rest of the world knew it) went out of existence in 2003, when phone people p(h)onied up $68 mill and it became U.S. Cellular Field.

Here in Houston, we were " Enron Field " when the park was built.

    That didn't last long...

My comment was poking humor at the Bob Costas interview with the president at the game. Barack was talking about how as a young man, the White Sox were his favorite team, and how he watched many games at "Cominskey Field." Costas' face twitched but he said nothing, then later he he made a point of tactfully referring to "Comiskey Park."

It kind of reminded me of when Al Gore was running for prez and during several campaign stops at union rallies, he talked about how he remembered him mom singing the "always look for, the union label" jingle to him and then it came out that the jingle wasn't written until Al was in his late 30's.

I regretted seeing Comiskey close - I spent many a day in the stands watching the Sox with my dad when I was a kid. Minnie Minoso, Luis Aparicio, Jim Landis, Hoyt Wilhelm and the rest of them. I even got to see Ted Williams play against my Sox a few times back then. Lot of memories...

I'd like to say that I miss the Astrodome, BUT I Can't...

    Minute Maid Park Rocks..

The experience, especially when you can take your kids or grand-stinkers there, is truly an event....
