We have had about 4 inches of rain since 8 am and another 3 inches are predicted for early this afternoon. Now there is a line of storms expected with strong winds and hail. We have a flash flood warning, flash flood emergency, flood advisory and a high water warning. Not sure what the difference in some of those is but I am assuming we have some water issues going on out there.
Everything in our garden in lying down except for one stalk of corn. My eight year old looked at it and said, "Do you think he was in on it?". Too funny!

Well, we just got home from a quick look to see what was going on and many rural roads and town streets are closed. The main highways are closed as well as the interstate.
It's still raining hard. I'm not sure as to what the total rainfall is by now. Here in Indiana, we aren't really equipped for these long-lasting downpours. My town even made the news! And not for a stolen tractor or the biggest ear of corn this time!

I was wondering if that is where you are. My mother-in-law had to stop on her way to Fort Wayne from Nashville today because it was so bad in southern Indiana.
Glad you are safe (and have electricity!)

Yes, they have. Blue sky and sunshine. And still one stalk of corn. Maybe he really was in on it!
Thanks again for your concern.
