And so do I require timely payments

Since I have been vocal against other places not paying, might as well out this one too.
We have never slammed Ecom Mike and his hold up suspenders program previously since it was generating a few sales for us. Very disturbing is we had enough for payment and requested as such in early December.
It is now early March, numerous e mails and communication have gone back and forth and still NO cheque yet.
    So where is it??

And being consistant with all the other times I had to come in here and make concerns public with non payment with some, my non payment issue has been raised many times with them in private first. But time comes where non action means a posting like this is going to become public for all to know.

    So now you know

WW you got a detailed explaination last week after I spent 3 hours going over thousands of orders trying to match up your order# with the sales amount. Every Order # was valid ...every sales amount was totally false. All the manual work was completed and the check cut and mailed to your furnished Canadian address, while I was in Holdup Suspenders office last week.

It is impossible for you to get the wrong infomation on the carbon copy of all sales made from a referred link. You only had to cut and paste those sales notices into a e-mail and request payment. Checks are cut daily upon verification.

WW just check your mail box and verify your e-mail address for filtering as the explaination e-mail was sent.

Check was made and Payable to
[DO NOT PUT THAT ADDRESS BACK AGAIN or I will lock the thread]

    Mailed on 03/04/2004

Like I said above the information your sent for payment required manual cross checking agains 6 months of invoices. As you mention in your original payment request your had a new computer sytem and had to manually complile the order list from old e-mails. Every affiliate sale gets an immediate carbon copy e-mail sent to your provided e-mail address. Normal payment requests are a simple cut and paste ...then sent to me or Holdup Suspenders. Typical payment request with accurate verifable info:

    Order:1745-3804-4287 Code:xxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 54.90

    Order:1747-7274-8004 Code:xxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 19.95

    Order:1749-8614-7779 Code:xxxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 34.95

    Order:1753-5887-0937 Code:xxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 19.95

    Order:1753-9325-9051 Code:xxxxxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 29.95

    Order:1754-7272-7694 Code:xxxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 64.90

    Order:1754-9511-7906 Code:xxxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 24.95

    Order:1755-3112-2750 Code:xxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 24.95

    Order:1756-9060-6050 Code:xxxxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 79.90

    Order:1758-3615-4920 Code:xxxxxxxxx
    Order Subtotal was: 29.95

Your order#'s and net sales amounts did not match. Me and Judee had to search for the amount you showed, and then track through each sale for that amount to find the proper order # tagged with your referral ID.

Yep Chet impossible to block the link from displaying by Norton or hijack the secure server set cookie by a BHO. Impossible for the sale to be completed without the affiliate getting a e-mail confirmation of referral sale.

    Sample e-mail notice to affiliate:

    To: affiliate@domain.com
    > Subject: Affiliate sale made! Order:1732-3489-
    > 5999 Code:AffiliateID
    > From: "Holdup Suspender Company -suspenders so
    > unique they're Patented"
    > <info@mysuspenders.com> Add to Contacts
    > Date: , Mar 7 2004 11:49:46 PM -0500
    > Order Subtotal was: 19.95

If someone puts order# 1732-3489-5999 with an amount of 59.80 it does require manual verification of where that amount came from as we assume all affiliates would not change the sale amount. The customer was only charged 19.95 and the customer cannot get to the price field to fudge the figure during checkout. Merchant can't disable the affiliate e-mail notification feature without turning off the entire shopping cart.

Hidden bonus to the system is the merchant can accurately track PPCSE keyword sales to verify conversion ratios on that Overture/AdWords traffic. Overture is at 1/28 and AdWords at 1/16

Thanks Andy as I just took one of the affiliate payment requests and only that affiliate would even know the ID. Thanks for removing the generic ID information. Only have 9 affiliates in the private program and all deserve more personal attention. I'm easy to reach, and so is Holdup Suspenders, without resorting to the tone on this and other threads.

Wow missed a lot judging by all the edits

I am going to basically leave the couple of other sales under minimum payment and just walk away from the program
Too many problems, and will swap out links as I go

I will be fair and if they do pay, I will update my post here about it at that time.

This was enough of an outing, as I have posted here in the past, I'll do things in private since delays can occur.
    However,
Drag your ass and everyone will know.
I just want what is rightfully mine
I don't put up the the non payment BS in my offline agency either and I'm not going to start now
WW edits post as he sees this

If I called or emailed a merchant asking what happened to my payment, they would respond with the amount, address, check number, and other relevant info.

This affiliate expressed a desire to see that response in public.

A response, different from personal info such as someones home address. You trying to defend Mikes posting affiliates home address and site is crazy.
