    Experience with HubPages affiliates?
    Hi All!

I've been a "lurker" for many years, but had amazing AM's so I didn't need to roll up my sleeves and post too often, but now that I'm working for a company with a *much* smaller marketing department, I'm back in the Affiliate world again.

I've got a newbie affiliate who wants to apply to my program. He's got a page on HubPages and wants to know if I'll let him in. I don't see much traffic, but what content he has is relevant. I've also checked the HubPages T&C's and it appears that he can do his own affiliate marketing but from other threads I get the impression that HubPages will boot him if they feel he's getting too commercial.

Should I let him into my program?

    Thanks for your help!

Ask for other samples of his Hubpage writing style and see if they're too commercial.

Will do, thanks, but my question was more along the lines of "has anyone had problems with affiliates using the HubPages platform?" and whether or not pages on that platform should be in an affiliate program.

I personally don't see a problem with letting him in.

I have seen HubPages but have not noticed any affiliates applying with one. If the pages are part of your niche by all means let him in. Its hard for an affiliate to jump start a site that this is probably him getting his feet wet.
