AbeBooks - Too bad about AbeBooks. I like that company, but let's face it, there are many more to go with if you lose it. B&N, Amazon, Indigo Books & Music, Powell's Books, just to name a few...

For quick fixes, I've been doing changes, redirecting pages, etc.

6th Ave - Any ideas? Right now I'm switching out w/ BestBuy, but I'd rather something more along the line of 6thave.

7 For All Mankind - Fossil w/ CJ works.

ActiveMusician - Musician's Friend (CJ) is a good alternative I think.

Akademiks - I think I'm going w/ Old Navy or Gap w/ this one. WildAttire might work too. Any ideas?

Aloette - For a quick fix until I look harder at it, I'm switching out w/ Avon. I'll look harder at it later.

    Anna's Linens - Domestications (CJ)

Appleseed's - Soft Surroundings (CJ) - Should work

    For electronics you could try:

    NewEgg is at CJ
    Vanns at SAS
Buy.com at CJ has a good electronics section

Wrangler - My pick for an alternative is Sheplers on CJ. This goes for Lee Jeans too although you might do better w/ the selection at Amazon. Right now Sheplers is low in Lee but strong in Wrangler. Land's End has a decent inventory of Lee so that might be a good option too. I believe they are at LS.

I don't see Bridaluxe. Their loss... what a shame for that merchant.

I do see the Google Affiliate Network Moderator hanging out in here. Too bad they can't add anything of value to the list. Maybe they're just taking names...because they couldn't get an adsnense account.

    Hello Leeann,

There is nothing for us to contribute on this thread. We have many great advertisers and affiliates. Linking to AdSense is very easy and we have had many succcessful conversions.

Of course we want you and others to stay with us. You have done your homework and there are many other options out there. Please feel free to consider them all.

    Thank you,

    Jamie

Easy? It isn't easy for me, it's impossible. Plus what does it have to do with affiliate marketing? And what gives Googoo the right to severe relationships that are six and seven years deep? Give me a break. Please spare me your sanctimonious attitude. The company you work for is a power mongrel that has no real concern for its merchants and certainly zero concern for its affiliates.

"Linking to AdSense is very easy and we have had many succcessful conversions."

The problem aren't the successful ones, it's the ones that will be getting the boot because they can't link up. I realize it's not a big deal to Google but it would be a big deal if you're an affiliate that works with a lot of merchants at GAN or derive most of their income via GAN merchants and will be getting the boot.

"Of course we want you and others to stay with us."

Action will prove that true or not, not words. You can have those affiliates stay with you, it's a matter of you guys actually doing something, get all your current GAN affiliates a way to get paid and over to the new system. It's doable.

"You have done your homework and there are many other options out there. Please feel free to consider them all."

Affiliates that can't link up, don't have much choice. But there are other options out there for advertisers as well on what network they sign up with.

It's just not an affiliate friendly move, it isn't. These are current GAN affiliates with relationships with merchants. If they were in bad standing with GAN, they wouldn't be in GAN. So some affiliates in good standing with GAN, will be getting the boot because of something unrelated. How does that make sense? CJ's LMI was a bad idea, affiliates pointed it out and they eventually made the right move. Don't tell me these guys are smarter Google.
