Running Windows 7 on PC, Vista on Laptop, and Mac OS X on my Mac. So far I like Windows 7 alot - just started using it after my Dell PC died. My husband and my son ended up building me a boombox of a system from scratch and installed Windows 7.

Vista here - I find it actually useful. Although it is constantly indexing, it knows how I use it so it doesn't index while I work. Plus, the instant search is great! I have lots of files and I never remember where I save them.

I'm also rocking Windows 7! I will definitely be buying the upgrade when it's available. Lots of cool features that make you say "it's about time!"

I use XP on a 4-year-old Dell PC. My wife uses Vista on both her desktop and laptop PCs. My PC seems to require a full re-install from CD every 10-14 months; I'll probably try installing Windows 7 the next time this happens.

Vista, once I tweaked it and it stopped constantly indexing it's been fine.

Since I dont have much RAM, so XP works well for me. But as heard Windows 7 is the best right now with all new cool features.

Vista is great for parents with kids that would like to spend their lives on computers. Set up user accounts with limitations on times allowed and sites they can visit via parental controls. You can set up internet for "Allowed Sites" only, which is about the only foolproof filter. Can't do that with XP.
