Well, it's only for those who know advanced seo, and it's almost 2,500 bucks. If I knew enough about seo to be making that much would I really need to go to a seminar like that?
I forgot what I was doing.

Curious about the chaps speaking? I'm an old-timer in SEO and wondering why I haven't come across them before.

Not questioning credibility at all...just curious. SES you only have to pay $1400 and you get to hear the engines themselves.

    Publishers Conference is even cheaper.

Tonite, we have the Director of Search from Yahoo, Tim Mayer, as our guest on The RainMaker Radio Webcast...LIVE. Its free.

Now, I'm also a paid speaker and have done large seminars on Advanced SEO.

But this is the first time I've heard of a conference that high with a crew of speakers I don't know.

    Interesting...good luck to you guys.

No. In fact, you would be collecting hefty fees for speaking at similar functions.

Sounds like the most valuable part could be where ideas are shared among participants. It specifically says sharing at least one "high-value" idea is a requirement! It says that this'll be a small price due to all the great ideas you'll pick up from others.

No need to spend $2495 for that! A bunch of SEOs who are willing to share their techniques can get together on a forum or in a group PM to do *that,* and the cost of admission would then be $0.

As for the speakers, I paid more attention to what points the site says will be covered. The points I see shouldn't be anything all that new to the "Ultra Advanced" people this conference says it's aiming to get! The "four (4) optimization techniques 99.9% of SEOs do NOT know about" may actually be new info (or not--you may be in the .01%), but without any promise that those techniques will be all that valuable, $2450 is an awful lot to gamble to see if they're any good.

Well, Ms Nobles and John Alexander I know (they used to be Academy of Web Specialists) but like SEGuru, I've not heard of the others either. Still, don't want to put anyone off. I was intrigued by that '4 optimization techniques 99.9% of SEOs do NOT know about' thing as well, but that just sounds like marketing hype to me.

I took a quick look and didn't even see the "Search Engine Workshops is a partnership between John Alexander and Robin Nobles." reference at 1st glance, markymark
