    Question Google Images
I have a swimsuit merchant that I have been getting a ton of clicks on but no sales so I started watching where the visitors were coming from. They are all coming from Google images links and almost all from other countries other than the USA. Has anyone else have a problem with Google Images and how do I stop this. I noticed that once these visitors are on the site for awhile they start looking for keywords like bras, panties, underwear, etc. I'm figuring this type of visitor is up to no good and I don't want the merchant to get upset with us for sending them this type of trash traffic. Any suggestions?

Off of the top of my head, I would say that a swimsuit merchant is already used to this.

Put this in you robots.txt file - or whatever folder your images are in. I hope you have them all in one folder.

    Code:
    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /images/

Click on the image and see where you end up. That's the link it goes to.

It's free traffic and it boosts your alexa ratings. They might link to a picture and you get free links...

If you are not out of bandwidth what is the harm?

Is there an on-line course that I can pay for to explain this further?

Can I get a break if I already know how to hover over the image and see where it is directed without having to actually click on it?

    Say $50.00/month?

Exactly. I get high converting traffic to more than one of my sites that comes from Google Image searches (I know this thanks to Google Analytics). If you really don't want the google image bot spidering your site you can block just that bot.

Both of my sites are normally there in the results, but as an added bonus, hover over the pics and at least one of them points to my sites.

I thought it was just me.. on my biggest site, Google images is responsible for 33% of referring traffic.

You can stop Google Images from spidering your site or individual files or filetypes, more info here.

I have to agree. I get lots of traffic from google images and hey if you are selling bathing suites, you can expect pervs to be visiting your site too, but also potential clients. That is all part of it. Why would a merchant penalize you for traffic? It is still free traffic to the merchant even if it doesn't convert. Plus I don't think you would be the only affiliate sending them tons of traffic that doesn't convert.
