Post Hidden truth behind North Carolina
Great example of how legislation of one state will hide the truth from others (the nation). North Carolina's Norm Burtness is refer to as an E-Commerce Specialist for Secretary of State's Office.

"In North Carolina, for instance, state broadband authority e-NC spends at most $275,000 per year on maintaining a map of broadband availability in the state, detailed enough to list individual addresses, according to executive director Jane Smith Patterson." AP, NY 12Sep09

Why spend our federal tax dollars on a stimulus package for mapping a broadband coverage of NC. Enacted a tax on Affiliates and Internet Marketing, why a map, as NC does not want citizens to buy Online. Burtness is not about eCommerce moving forward with anything other than wallets. Plain and Simple...Something several politician are great at...LYING! Pray several North Carolianians' remember this era on next voting dates. eCommerce will always be hindered when we elect fools to control spending.

I assume that NC will be tracking my sales and reading my e-mails soon.

I do not think NC or other states would waste the money to track others (IP's), I would not worry about it until your sales are on Wal-Mart's level. Then anyone could afford to buy the law, as many status quo's do in this country. However, no person or entity is above American Jurisprudence, but they're those that think different too.
