September 22nd, 2009, 04:33 PM #1Payments pending: Account information required
When I login to GAN I received this warning in red:
"Payments pending: Account information required
The primary user (email@example.com) of this Google Affiliate Network account must sign in to Google AdSense and provide tax and form of payment information in order to receive payments."
I've been using Adsense and receiving monthly payments via direct deposit for years. In other words, I already provided both payment and tax information to Adsense.
Edit: Is there a phone number somewhere to contact GAN about payments?

I see that too. I guess you can just fill it out again.

Did you try just entering the same information?
I'm afraid of triggering some kind of further delay by changing information that is already working...you know, making it worse...

It's not allowing me to update the info.. it says I can only do this when my AdSense balances reaches $10.. wtf..?? I don't have ANY Adsense on my site.. never will..
GAN needs to provide dedicated support to publishers for this transition.. and review case by case.. this is turning into a disaster.

I'm seeing the same thing teezone is. I can see my GAN earnings in my AdSense account but am unable to add/edit my tax/payment method info. I have an email into GAN support regarding this issue.

My transition went ok and I see some money transferred to Adsense. I haven't figured out how to tie the funds to GAN though. No quick explanation for the bookkeeping involved.

I updated my tax info and still have the red warning message...will update if anything new.
Morning idea (yea sometimes I get one in the morning); It's interesting to see how Google will handle this Performix acquisition. They are so used to being the 800 pound gorilla. In other words, for many of us (affiliates and merchants) GAN is not our largest relationship. So if things are just so much easier elsewhere (CJ, LinkShare, SaS ...etc..), especially concerning payments (i.e. the bottom line), the call is relatively brain-less. Might take some time but the slow migration process will happen. This morning, I got a reply about my question (basically: refill the tax info) and it could not have been more brief and impersonal (no reply to email, no name, no phone, no follow up in case of still issue..etc..). Good day!

September 23rd, 2009, 01:03 PM #10You have to go to the GAN interface and look under the Payments link.

This issue should be solved for now.
I got a reply from GAN (I think this time from an old timer Performics support person...email was nice, friendly and to the point).
Basically it looks like that warning message was displaying for all publishers in error. Publishers, setup properly with Adsense, should be able to safely disregard that warning. It should soon be corrected.
PS: Now I hope re-entering my tax info and re-selecting my payment method did not trigger some kind of Adsense delay....
