    Question Locking Domains
    Stupid question time...

Should you "lock" your domain names? What does it mean...I mean, like, what are the advantages, disadvantages?

    Thanks,
    leeann

If someone gets the username/password for your registrar they can't unlock the domain to transfer it unless they respond to an email. It's an extra layer of security, of course if someone has gotten your registrar password they may have gotten into your email also.
