You can't get PM for a long time (and you can't post email, against rules) and I already offer this service to ABW members for half price. And if you try to beat my price, I'll go half of whatever you offer up to beat my price.

Well that's great! The free market in action!!

    Are many people doing this?
    Does it work?
I stopped posting because it didn't seem right
I couldn't find any rules prohibiting it

I really sucked wind on yesterday's NFL games. Falcons looked good, glad to see Michael Turner cut loose.

Yeah, you might get in trouble for stuff like that and get booted off networks. Usually most networks/merchants only say to post links on sites you own. As an example:

"The Use of Non-Publisher Owned Web Properties/Sites/Pages to Promote Advertisers. Other than paid search, publishers may only promote advertisers on Web pages/sites/properties that they, themselves, own or operate. Publishers may not place affiliate links/tracking code, nor promote Web sites that contain affiliate links/tracking code, in or on third- forums, message boards, blog comment areas, classified advertisement services (such as CraigsList.org), etc., unless given permission from the third-party to do so."

Yeah, nice to see Turner in these last two games looking like the Turner of last year. We usually win the games where he goes over 100 yards.

So you think there is no issue with usfrreads, only with the merchant?

I'm not sure about their policy but I wouldn't risk getting kicked out of a network or a merchant's program.

"...nor promote Web sites that contain affiliate links/tracking code, in or on third- forums..."

By that definition, CJ affiliates here cannot list their site in their forum sig. Am I understanding correctly?

If you don't know if it works or not, if its right or not, why do you want to do it for others.

Although it doesn't look like usfreeads prohibits it (which is stupid - do they really want a site filled with spam?), the networks do prohibit it and it's a sure way to get terminated. If you are tired of affiliate marketing and would like your accounts terminated so you can get out, it sounds like as good of a way as any.
