November 11th, 2009, 06:07 PM #1Help! Display Image Based on Date/File Name
I am working on an HTML page and I need something that changes the header based on the file name. I have done it before in ColdFusion but I totally forget and cannot figure it out.
Before how it worked as as such:
There was a <div> for the header. There was a default header called "header.jpg" in the /images folder
If I added a file called "header-01012009.jpg" then on January 1 2009 it would display that image (server time)
so "header-mmddyyyy.jpg" determined what displayed on that date.
Also, "header-02012009-02052009.jpg" would display that header from February 1-5, 2009
so "header-mmdd-yyyy-mmddyyyy.jpg" was used for date ranges.
Does anyone know how to do this with basic HTML or JS?
Thanks a ton!
