    What is/was your profession ?
What is or was your real profession besides affiliate marketing?

It would be good to know I guess.

I did a quick search and did not find anything related to my question so I hope I am not asking the same question already posted by others.

I was computer programmer and now in the healthcare field and trying my hand on aff. marketing but still far away from quitting healthcare field.

Let's hear from all of you.

My last job before going full time into affiliate marketing was working as a webmaster for a local health and beauty store. I maintained/updated their website.

Before that, I was mostly in retail.

Formerly a teacher for 22 years. I got involved with computers in a classroom (co-authored and won a large grant from Apple) in 1988 - started building a website for a school where I worked in 1997 - and that eventually led me down the path to do "whatever" it is that I now do.

I've got a degree in computer engineering and I spent 12 years writing software for the PC, then 5 years programming for a Web 2.0 startup while coding/running a price comparison website on the side, I've been full time on my website for 1 year and 3 months.

    I've had two careers.

Most of my jobs have been in IT, everything from WP Supervisor to Office Automation Analyst to Systems Administrator to Process/Workflow Administrator.

I have an interdisciplinary science degree and I've also worked in nature centers caring for marine animals and reptiles, creating signage, and designing interactive multimedia exhibits.

    I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn, and a king!

But seriously, I've been a computer programmer/web developer, software test engineer, aerospace engineer, and network admin. It's been fun, since I've been able to work in different industries, but I'm ready to move on to being self-employed as soon as the finances permit.

i was selling metal fabrication tools in my second senior year at UC Berkeley when i moved some machines to silicon valley and then crossed the virtual fence to join the web side. the machine i sold was a laser fabrication machine used to make chassis for computer hardware. when i saw the mfg plant and the volume, it was eye-opening.

I was a stay at home mom/wife when I first started in affiliate marketing. Prior to that I was assistant manager of a local Pizza & Subs place and now just so I can get out of the house once in awhile and around people I work 3rd shift a couple days a week at a mini market/gas station/pizza & sub place in which I wear the hat of cashier, stock person, database entry, counting inventory and an assortment of other misc jobs that need to be done there.
