Question G webmaster tools new keyword feature showing "span" code as keyword
Google webmaster tools has a new feature displaying significant keywords on the site. I am surprised to find that it is showing "span" as a keyword! I am not a techie, but isn't span used as part of the template code? I am using blogger as a host for my blog.

The following is what I see inside my webmaster tools:-

    -Keywords

    Keyword Significance Occurrences
    span
    64% 64% 170

Google found the keyword span on these top pages:
    Top URLs
    Go to URLfeeds/posts/default

Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Take care,

    chet

A couple of my sites are showing "read" as a keyword, which has me puzzled...

The sites are in PHP code, I am wondering if that has something to do with it... (the sites are about "Hotel Reservations").

I think there might be a glitch in the reporting of G webmaster tool. I checked my blogger code template, and the span is covered by chevron. In other words, <span>. No missing chevrons. May be a techie can help us out in the right direction.

    Thanks for your reply.
