    JavaScript Pagination With POST
I have a page that contains a lot of items. I would like to only show 20 items per page and paginate the rest, but I don't want to have multiple pages.

    For example, I don't want...

    www . site .com/stuff.php?page=2
    www . site .com/stuff.php?page=3
    www . site .com/stuff/page/2
    www . site .com/stuff/page/3

I would prefer to have a single page "stuff.php" and have a javascript based pagination that when you click on the 2,3,4,5... numbers, it will reload "stuff.php" with a page=x POST variable. Make sense?

Yes, it does make sense. There are many ways to go about this. You could spit out one table per page and set the style to display:none on all of them except the one you're showing. jQuery simplifies this all on the client. Depending on your requirements, may take 30 minutes to 2 hours.
