I have CandyWareHouse trans that locked yesterday and have been reversed today - whats the deal!! Does this mean any of our locks can just vanish into a puff of smoke, at any time!!

Same here, Candy Wharehouse, maybe because they are no longer in the CJ network.

If you were one of their affiliates you would know that they extended transactions for 1 month, regularly, that means the extensions came off for the November payout - THE TRANSACTIONS WERE LOCKED YESTERDAY

what are the odds of getting paid if trans that were never locked are now reversed or extended after a merchant has left cj?

Abigail i am or used to be one of their affiliate. Maybe if you directed your anger to the proper place you might get some results.

TrustNo1,

Point well taken - I expected the transactions would be reversed, but was happily surprised and elated to see them locked yesterday - point being what is the use of CJ locking things for us, getting us all excited over the payouts and then knocking our legs out from under us, especially after all the discussion this past week over the wonderful new changes, the tracking, when a lock is lock it is a lock and all that stuff.

I will miss the $xxx in my paycheque. I am still trying to figure out what happened to CandyWarehouse, even they haven't been forthcoming with any information.

with the new features cj.com installed locked can also mean the reversal is locked. We never can say if we get paid or not, because locked means
1. it is accepted
2. it is reversed
that is what I understood what Todd posted here.

Did you even bother to contact CandyWarehouse?

I did the minute they were deactivated, here's the response.

This is from October 24th (just after they were deactivated)
quote:
Hello Pete,

Yes, we will be relaunching our program with a newly designed website by the end of the year. With Commission Junction, it was too hard to keep track of what orders actually shipped and that adds alot of delay in us paying commissions as you know... sometimes over a month. I am trying to automate this process so that you are paid commissions automatically when an order is shipped from our warehouse.

Thanks for your patience with us as we develop this new system.

Chris

As for the commissions being reversed for non-payment, that did come as a bit of a shock to me though. They seem to be a good company, with intentions of reopening the program. Let's hope they clear this mess up.

Yes Pete, I did contact them, in fact I telephoned and spent a lot of time (on my dime) talking to a pleasant young woman who wouldn't tell my anything and promised to have someone call back, that was on Oct 22 - I also followed up with an email when no one called - I had a non response both ways. I was and am disappointed, as I enjoyed some very good sales over the past year with them.
