    My Start Today
Got to the office, poured coffee, and walked directly into a full length window, spilling it all over myself. I've known it's there for about a year now...

    Onwards and upwards.

sounds like a good location for a decal from FatHead . . . if this is your public area of an office I hate to think of what a visitor's accident could cost.

Oh my. Hope you are OK.

My parents used to own a lil' store that had a sliding door entrance.

One day, a tall man walked straight through and broke the whole thing.

He turned out OK but had lots of gashes and cuts, and was amazed at my mom's calmness and how she handled the situation. We had stickers and everything on the door, but he must've been in a hurry.

I've walked through a couple of screen doors myself, guess I just couldn't wait to merge with the great outdoors. Maybe you'd rather be fishin'?

It's not that hard to do. My wife walked into the wall yesterday. We were talking in the hall and she was standing where it turns. When she finished she turned abruptly to make the corner, but she wasn't in the corner and wham.

She is on medicine that makes her bruise very easy, and I hope that when she wakes up her face is not all bruised. No one will believe it when she tells the truth.

    Thumbs up Ouch !
I once broke my nose hitting a glass door while running and jumping. My little brother closed the door when i was running to the door and looking back...

    The window didn't brake...my nose did !

    Hope you OK.

Need to get yourself a Steelers helmet. No, it wouldn't prevent the skin searing hot coffee from penetrating your clothing. But, it would give you the added attention you apparently need. ;-) Plus, it would make a good YouTube vid. Viral.

Good thing you didn't break it! My problem the past year or so has been stairs. Somewhere it seems I forgot how to navigate them properly and had 2 nasty falls while making a right turn and slipping on the first stair. The first time was on our basement stairs when I fell and jammed my index finger when I fell. It still hurts. Another time my son and I were at the drag races and I did the same thing. That time I banged my shin and my lower leg and foot turned black and blue-for about 2 weeks. You'd think in nearly 50 years I'd learn to climb stairs but guess I still have some learning to do

That happens so frequently in so many places that I'm surprised it's not more common to have at least a decorative decal or company logo on the glass.

    Glad you're alright.

Greg, sometimes those tricky stairs add an extra step when you aren't looking. That's happened to me twice where I've missed the last step and gone down hard. Ouch.

We don't have a big window that's easy to walk into, thankfully. I hope you avoid windows that jump in your path forth the rest of the day, Kevin.

Glad you're ok, Kevin. Would it be too much to ask for you to re-enact it, and videotape it this time?

    lol.

I wear reading glasses at my pooter and sometimes forget to take them off...

I was walking down the stairs about a week ago and totally missed the last step.

Tumbled right into my pool table.

Didn't fall on my face, but still looked around to make sure nobody saw me -

    I blame it on age....

Once I was at an important dinner for my dad who had just accepted a position as the Club Director at a new golf course in the area. The designers, Bob Cupp and Tom Kite (who had just won the US Open) were at the dinner as were the Japanese investors and the upper management for the parent company.

The kids, including me, decided it was a good idea to run through the house and I went barreling into a screen door and onto the patio in front of everyone.

    Totally destroyed the screen door.

Years later I met Tom Kite again in the grille at the course and he still remembered it, asking if I had run into any screen doors lately?

    Nice.
