Quality Click Pricing = $0.00 for November 2009
I've had 6000+ page impressions and Hundreds of Clicks pushing traffic to eBay in the 1st half of November but nothing at all in sales?

I normally see at least 6 to 8 wins for this amount of targeted traffic. Do we no longer get credited with wins on unassociated items. Does QCP mean that the item you promote, must be won in order to qualify as a "quality" win?

I don't get this new system? Does a bidder have to leave my site, bid and win an item I was promoting for me to actually see an affiliate payment?

As far as I can tell QCP = FREE Traffic for eBay and hours of wasted work for thousands and thousands of eBay affiliates making little to no income under the new Quality Click Pricing program.

I'm thinking of pulling all of my eBay ad's.

I'd like to hear if others out there are thinking of dropping eBay as well...

It would unfortunately be a massive amt. of work for me to pull all of the eBay flash banners and hyperlinks on my sites.

This all seems like a nightmare!

    Talking
my EPC with them is zero so far this month, but my visitors mostly know how to type their url in direct. I'm putting my time in on other projects that are more profitable while I see how this plays out.

remember, those clicks have to make them money before they pay anything per click. tire kickers don't pay. but car buyers do!

Okay, now does anyone know whether or not we still get
credit for items won that do not relate to the item clicked?

For Example: If someone clicks on a '57 Chevy link on my
website, looks there... surfs to a '70 Challenger and bids
and wins on the Challenger... do I get my conversion?

This is the big question to me now???

I started another thread on a similar point a few days ago.

My Nov. earnings as of a few days ago were at about 10% of what they used to be. My impression was we now only get paid for clicks, but when I saw several days with clicks and no $$ I decided to start pulling links. I have them all over hundreds of pages on several sites, so it is a long process that will have to be done as those pages are updated, but I am through with ebay.

ePloy might not consider those signups profitable (assuming that is part of the formula) until each actually bids on something.

Okay, affiliatejobs, your traffic to eBay winning auctions totaled: $196.00
and they gave you 4% of that... and probably nothing for the ACRU.(?)

And, so if I want to make any conversions with eBay now I need to link
directly to auctions, removing them after auctions end etc., creating new
links afterward, etc., etc. - I might as well become an eBay employee
and they can pay me by the hour.

It also sounds like posting eBay banners and flash panels
are complete wastes of time, under their new system
those clicks are not quality. They'd also have a very poor
chance of ever turning into winning auctions with the
person who actually clicked through my website.

This seals my original thought... I'm done with eBay.

Not to defend ebay, but if you use the link generator/Custom URL, you are always linking to current auctions that match key words related to your site/page content - no need to create new links. That is what I use most of the time. And now it seems generic banners would be even more a waste of time.

    http://siteanalytics.compete.com/amazon.com+ebay.com/

ebay is constantly declining in traffic and amazon is steadily increasing it.

ebay lost unique traffic from 77m to 70m in last 6 months and amazon from 66m increased to 70m in last 6 months !!

Don't put any faith in toolbar based analytics. They can't possibly be accurate with such a small slice of data and they are easily manipulated.
