November 25th, 2009, 05:52 AM #1Super newbie question about affiliates and protection, and verifying reviews
Okay, soo... I know that I'm supposed to read the TOS of a program to ensure that there is some protection for affiliates, before joining.
But how do I actually know which parts pertain towards protection for affiliates?
Also, for example: you already know what type of product to sell. However, there're some negative reviews for every company you've looked. Now, that means nothing since no company is perfect.
However, how would you verify that the reviews are authentic and real, and not posted by say...a competing company or even someone who has never bought their products, or even a customer who committed the mistake on their end(but didn't own up)?
I know about epinions and bizrate. But even then, you can't always tell, can you?
