Musclemaster Suspends Acct. for 120 Days
"Thank you for your continued support. We are temporarily suspending our account in the next 24 hours. We plan to resume our account in about 120 days."

How nice. Right in the middle of the holidays..

I noticed on the bottom of the email it says, "This message was sent by one of
your Merchant Partners, Bulk Nutrition, at www.shareasale.com."

What is, who is Bulk Nutrition?

I think we need one place (so we remember next year) all the merchants that suspended their accounts during Nov, Dec, and Jan.

They both have the same address in their About Us page. Same company I guess.

Why don't you start a new thread for it and put it in your signature?

It also would be nice to include merchants that suspend their programs right after Christmas and don't pay their affiliates for their sales during the holidays too (toy merchants).

I got the email and then dumped both their programs immediately. I didn't find they converted that well anyway.

Here's another one that came in yesterday:

We're emailing today to inform you that we've made changes to ALL link URL's for Skis.com text links and banners. The change that we've made will allow us to more accurately track clicks and sales so that we can better serve you moving forward.

*** IMPORTANT: We ask that you update ALL links that you have on your site for Skis.com. Again, this is imperative for us to improve the program as we go forward.***

As an additional item of note, we have resolved all problems relating to our product catalog so if you have not already implemented our product catalog, you can do so now. It is certain to increase your sales if you do.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
    Absolutely clueless.

I got the email as well, but thought it was spam.

Talk about pulling the rug out from under affiliates...at a critical time of year too.

Seems kind of slimy to me.

    Thumbs down
Hi sorry my first post is a rant but this stinks!

My site is a small niche just for bodybuilding supplements and will take a big hit because of this not to mention serveral 404 pages (I have a custom 404 just for Shareasale offline merchants but still very unprofessional!).

Not that it will help much but I sent them a message to 'express my feelings' .

    It affects me too.
Sometime ago I learned not to concentrate on a single merchant and I did, only that this was until now, the best one.
God knows what's on their mind but I doubt I'll get back to them in 120 days after they went offline for a week and told me that they will be online "soon". I waited a week with them offline and lost.
