January 7th, 2010, 02:03 PM #1Why ShareASale is our Network of Choice
Here is a video I shot yesterday about why ShareASale is our network of choice here at Legacy
One of my first objectives when I started here at Legacy was to get setup with ShareASale. And within only a few weeks, we were already making sales. Since then, we have had record week after record week.
Everything from their interface, reporting, affiliate tools like widgets and videos...

Wow, Matt, nicely done. I've got to add a big +1 to what you said in that video.
I have been an affiliate for nearly four years and now, as a merchant, I can see the advantages of working with ShareASale from two viewpoints. As you said, SAS Rocks!

Matt, we were all so flattered by this, thank you so much. The entire office was blanketed in warmth when we saw this, unbelievable

Wait until you see the final cut, high-def version. It's soooo much better.
Our production team and I had a lot of fun shooting yesterday and editing today.
We did another video which will come out soon that is really cool.

You are an AM's AM.....
I'll bet you could help your affiliates sell snowballs to Eskimos if someone were to put you in that position..

Wow Matt, I already see you clinching the best AM title at the Summit. I can't wait to see that happen.
Good job with video, buddy.

This is the MUCH better high-def version:
Our production team shot it in high-def just for fun...it was one of the first things we have done in high-def, but there will be a lot more to come

There are 3 ways a Network can approach this business:
1. Deny affiliates are even part on the online money stream and hope we all fade away
2. Admit affiliates are necessary, but treat us as a nuisance, as nameless useless cogs, and have the attitude that "any question that can't be answered with an autoresponder isn't worth asking"
3. Realize that the network, the merchant and the affiliate are all equally responsible for success (or failure)
ShareASale has shown they get it, and to most of us, they are our own branch office in Chicago.
Things "break" online. Shopping carts go down. Your domain is down. Cable goes out. Whatever "event" happens during the day, it's critical that the primary players are there when you need them. SAS has always been there when I needed them.
Nice production Matt. Can I borrow your crew?
