So, Elbowcreek, you're in Gosport eh? I lived in Spencer for 7 years (if you call Spencer living ). and got My M.A. from I.U. at Bloomington. We also went to the Indy 500 with a Gosport couple about 10 years ago.

Is the Gosport Outdoor theater going to be open this year? We like to go there at least a couple times each year, but about a month ago we drove by on 231 and it looked like a part of the screen was missing.

My2cents, Honey Creek mall in Terre Haute is a 45 minute drive from our house. We live 5 miles southwest of the I-70 Putnamville exit (the 34 mile marker?) We're just north of Cataract lake, although it is a Reelsville address. I suppose Elbowcreek knows where the lake is. BTW, I took my name "Caglesmill" from the fact that so many other things around here are named after Cagles Mill, an old grain mill that was near here until it burned down.

Anyway, I'm surprised to see there are at least 2 other ABW members so close to here. If you folks want to get together somewhere sometime, let me know.

I hope the drive-in will be open this year, we spend a lot of friday nights out there during the summer! Yes, I know where Cataract is, hi neighbor!

Loxly, if you are going to St. Louis by car from N.Y., then I assume either you will take the northern route through Chicago, or I-70 which will take you right through both Indy and Terre Haute.

Elbowcreek, for both of our sakes I hope not only that the outdoor is open this year, but that they finally repaint the screen before they open this year.

Yeah, Loxly, by going through I-70 you are driving by us. I'd be happy to meet you folks over at TH sometime for a lunch, it'd be fun.

Wuh oh, better get Carolyn's stuff on my site before we meet, lol! Still working on some of those suggestions you had for me from the last meeting, lol.

Julian: How many people can your barn hold?

We'll see if there aren't a couple more that respond to the thread then set a day up. Is a saturday lunch okay with you folks, or do you want this as a lunch time during the week?

I can pretty much do either.

just thinking to my self...one never hears any requests for any Iowa/Nebraska/South Dakota/North Dakota/Wyoming get-togethers. Sometime I should post a new thread and see how many of you are out there. It might be a bit of a drive but I've sure we'd have a good time!

I realize it's an old thread but just wanted to say I'm from Indy for those who stumble on the thread. I think I've met most of you who've previously posted here.

Please keep me posted if their are any new meet ups in town.

    Thanks
