    Sample Google Analytics Page ???
    HEY KEV,

Is there an example of what a good analytics results page COULD look like?

Trying to show my analytics some love this morning, and the results are getting better w/ time, but my brain hurts trying to come up w/ new stuff that actually pertains to "things" that will help me make quality changes.

    I've got bounce rate down...

That's actually what means the most to me...

Have over 90 landing pages that I watch...

Got the Intelligence down to some extent, but not really interested in daily alerts.

Most of the Content options I get from my site reports in REAL TIME, so those seem like overlapping results...

Have trimmed about 8 or 9% off of my bounce rate on my home page in the last two months, although daily bounce rates fluctuate so much that I've stopped making even the littlest of changes until everything settles.

    What else do I NEED???

Well, that depends. I watch Time on Page for my important pages too. Gives you an idea WHY there are bounces or no bounces... Or if my content is over peoples heads or whatever. Don't look at the long outliers though... folks that wandered off, or answered the phone. Look at the meaty middle.

Another one I've become fascinated with is a Goal related metric that you might not be able to do based on how you're set up. But I'm measuring what Ad Position (1-11) my AdWords account does the best converting in.

Answer? For me, 3rd. Right above the natural results. We've actually scaled back some bidding based on that, though it's tough to guess what # 3 will cost exactly.

By the way, is your site seeking a national audience, or a Texas audience?

    National ........

No sense in micro targeting traffic ....
