Would like to know some success story from first person account...
    Dear friends,

After lurking here for a long time I have started participating actively.

This forums seems a great one and I am determined to use the knowledge gained here to gain success in the affiliate marketing.

Can someone post or point me to success story from abestweb.com i.e. somebody who started here with nothing and over a period of months to years achieved phenomenal success.

I don't know of others but certainly this kind of success story motivates me a lot. I had reasonable success with blogpost blogs and adsense but could never replicate it in affiliate marketing. I think I have all the tools but something is missing and hopefully I would find it.

    thanks for reading.

I didn't start here. I found ABW while I was already into aff marketing. I didn't learn only from ABW, I learned from everywhere I could find something I cld learn from. And I am not your 'phenomenal success story', but I am doing ok. Still learning, still growing.

There is no shortcut in affiliate marketing. It takes time to succeed.

Then are tons of success stories here Hang around and after Affiliate Summit is over I'd be glad to help you find some success story threads that are buried here in the forum.

I think you'll find that most successful affiliates don't like to talk in too much specifics about their success. We don't want or need the competition.

Affiliate marketing was quite a bit different when I started (1999), but I certainly saw huge success in a short period of time. I put my first affiliate link up on 5/16/1999, and was making a full-time income in less than six months. I got laid off from my day job shortly thereafter and have been a full time affiliate since 3/15/2000, 10 months after I started. I made more my first 12 months of affiliate marketing than I ever made in a year in corporate America. In every one of my 10+ years of affiliate marketing, my earnings (and time flexibility!) have far eclipsed anything I ever could have made in the corporate world.

I don't know if it's appropriate to be talking about threesomes here...
