Anyone Get Any Google Goodies for Christmas???
I always get something cool from the Googmeister.

    This year - ZIPPO!

I know they sent an email a while back saying they were contributing millions to something for the Holidays.. ( prolly a worthy cause ), but I don't remember what it was....

I LOVE Being Shown the LOVE!

One customer sent me a huge basket of chocolates....

Another was dried fish, olives and crackers...

Guess who I'm sending my leads to this year? -

Google made donations to several charities as opposed to sending gifts this year.

Google 'owes' me 3 fridges by now...but I've never received anything over the years. I don't know if it's because I'm in Canada or because I'm an affiliate.

Either way, I don't really mind. I want less clutter my home, not more.

The problem with giving a gift every year is that people start to expect one instead of appreciate one.

On the other hand, if any co. on earth makes enough profit to afford to donate to charity & send a gift, it's probably google.

I did get the message from Google too and I thought it was a great idea, but I would've preferred to be able to designate the charity I wanted to support and it would've been nice if the donation was made in each individual affiliate's name.

I usually get a few things from merchants for Christmas. This year was one of my best years and I didn't get anything, not even products to review. Until... yesterday a package arrived from Loxly. Thanks, Loxly!

Google gave $20 million to charities on our behalf?
    Wonderful tax deduction for Google.

wonder what portion of that I can deduct from my tax bill?

Nobody is ENTITLED to a gift from anyone. A gift is a gift.

Why does Google have to make an excuse for not giving us gifts under this guise.

I hope Google keeps making donations to DESERVING charities.

Just leave me out of the equation - I am an adult that can decide for myself who, when and how I donate to charities.

    Cheers,

    Kitty.

Yes, to their adwords and adsense customers and publishers.

Maybe others as well, I'm not sure.

    Cheers,
