A little earlier today I wrote about New Mexico introducing legislation to require out of state merchants to collect and remit sales tax.
The bill number is House Bill 50 http://legis.state.nm.us/Sessions/10...use/HB0050.pdf .
The bill is similar to the NY one and indicates there will be ability to rebut but of course this is still early in the process. Also, as we all should know, interpretation may be different.
Affiliate need to prepare their business model NOW. Not suggesting panic, suggesting preparation. And remember, even if it passes you can survive - you just need to adjust and adapt. The key is to minimize damage by preparing now.

Bumping this to make it easier for someone to find. (I referred an affiliate from New Mexico here in case he needs help from others.)
