Watching now, lots of support for him from the people that have seen the show already...

side note: He taped earlier than he usually does so that the guests could be on his show, then go to the Haiti relief show. Tom Hanks was first, and another guest is Neal Young, that we already know was on the Relief show also.

I liked his final song which was a rendition of Free Bird. Had plenty of cow bell.

Conan introduced the number by saying here's Will Farrell and some good friends. The "Friends" were never acknowledged, but they included Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top (real easy to spot), Ben Harper, and Beck.

    Not too shabby.

He ended on a very classy note. And he told the audience "especially the young people, don't be cynical, I *hate* cynicism. Be good, be nice and good things *will* come your way".

Until September then, Craig Ferguson is the only thing worth watching in the current line up.

We DVR it every night and watch during dinner. That guy kills me.

Man I'm gonna miss that guy. I only first started watching him late 2008 and he provided some much needed laughs for me during a tough time when I was laid off.

Anyways, I liked the way he went out too and I think he gained a lot of fans from how everything went down. Hope to see him on late night again soon.

I think he has a real unique sense of humor....maybe not the best fit for the "Tonight Show" ..he needs his own gig.

Every time I think of him I still hear....

In the year 2000......In the year 2000

I totally agree. Craig is out there and I supposed I consider that much more entertaining than all those other boring guys.

They could shut down all the rest of them and I won't cry one bit.

But, to be nice, I'll send Conan well wishes for his future.
I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Bud Lite than Kay.

    Me too! LOL.

Drew Carey retweeted the following the other day (don't remember the original tweeter):

"How many NBC execs does it take to change a light bulb? I hope you like living in the dark!"

    LOL.

On the Tonight Show it became "In the year 3000" and he started with this.

When I was on East coast time in Michigan I used to fall asleep watching Jay Leno almost every night, and many times was waken by the extremely high-pitch "in the year 2000" skit.

Wasn't til many years later that I knew what that skit was all about. I always just thought Conan was really weird before I actually started watching him because of that.

Conan was abreath of fresh air to the Tonight Show. I refuse to watch Leno or Letterman.
Hopefully Conan will be back on Fox in September.

Can't wait to see Conan again. Hopefully Andy and the rest of the crew come along as well. Where would the show be without a few cheap easy shots at La Bamba?

    Conan's Return!
Conan will do an hour show on TBS, Mon-Thu, at 11:00 p.m., debuting in November.

As an irrelevant aside, last Monday David Letterman delivered the funniest joke I've heard in a long, long time: "The allergies in New York are so bad, drug dealers are changing crystal meth back into sudafed."

Affiliatehound, that's a great joke. I'm happy Conan will be returning to late night.

Yea, bibby, but not for another 7 months.

Bad news, he'll be opposite Jon Stewart*, (but I usually watch the Daily Show re-run the following morning.)

    Glad you liked the joke.

11 is a horrible time slot. I won't remember to tune in, since it is when the east coast is generally watching the news.

    I wish him luck though!

And AffiliateHound, that is a pretty funny joke!

Wonder if Fox didn't make an offer. TBS at 11pm seems like a bad move for Coco.
