    Cool Display Picture on ABW
Was thinking to put my DP on ABW, need input... sometimes people think am not exactly craig stephen :S.... maybe i am a guy sitting somewhere in Asia or Africa and pretending am sitting at UK.....

So thinking to get a photoshoot to put my good DP as my pic looks horrifying... LOLZ....

Jokes apart... just a personal study.... does people trust you more if you create more human interaction by putting my own DP at forums, communities and blogs? i personally think as per my experiance that if people don't wana agree that am actually real craig , if i give them my SS number... they wont believe

DP?... you mean just a personal picture or headshot? If that's what you mean, then absolutely, get a real picture of yourself to use as your avatar, if you're comfortable with having your face out there. People always respond better to human images than logos or cartoons. You don't need to do it, but it sure can help quite a lot.

I think it is very important to have a real photo of yourself in all areas of social media (blogs, facebook, twitter, forums etc.). It helps build more of a personal relationship with the people you are interacting with. A lot of people recommend going with a head-shot but I personally don't think that is the important part.

I know I am wired to initially think that anyone using a logo as their picture is just there to push an agenda.

Don't know why I thought that was funny....

    But it was.

I think that using a pic of yourself helps if you are an AM, but I don't want to scare anyone with my ugly mug..

Besides, my house guy is adorable....

...but seriously folks, I know there has been debate in the past on whether an actual picture should be used or not, and with few exceptions, I really don't care. Affiliate, AM, OPM, merchant, use whatever you're comfortable with or whatever helps you express yourself whether it's a head shot, full nude, cartoon or logo.

However, Craig, that large font that you're using in your signature is pretty obnoxious.

It's recommended that AMs, OPMs and Merchants use a real picture so people know who they are dealing with. It lends more credibility.

But you need to do what you are comfortable with of course.
