The Right Partnership (California) Legal Question
Two UK companies wish to enter a partnership with a US individual for a project registered in California.

    A LP has been filed.

The LP requires the individual names of partners instead of the companies.

What is the best partnership arrangements for California so that the two businesses are listed as limited partners rather than the individuals from those companies?

You need advice from a California attorney. The anonymous attorney who volunteered is no longer participating in this forum, so you won't get any useful advice here.

I suspect that you may be confusing the concepts of a "limited partnership" (LP) and a "limited liability company" (LLC). You need to discuss your specific needs and desires with a California attorney.
