As far as I'm concerned there is only one serious candidate - I shall reveal it after seeing what people suggest.
(If anyone says 'Starwars' I shall get seriously despondent....)

The Outsiders, and I'm sure there's something else but I'm drawing a blank

    Recent--The Matrix.

Older--I second the vote for Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail, for the full-length comedy division.

Three Stooges for shorties. Can't pick a favorite Stooges short, though...

Duel. Not sure how to classify that one. Drama? Non-horror thriller? Unforgettable, in any case...I never looked at a semi-truck in the rearview quite the same.

No, I was thinking of The Duellists....
Duel is not in my top five (not a bad movie, though)

    My all time re-watchables are:

    Four Weddings and a Funeral
    Notting Hill

    Also like
    Gladiator
    Matrix
Van Wilder - for sheer fun, and
    Meet the parents
    The Exorcist

    Worst movies include:
    Zoolander
That one about the women who end up singing about penises (I think in a cafe or shop) and had Cameron Diaz in.

    Andy Williams

yep - the Cameron Diaz thing has me intrigued...
Four weddings, Notting Hill - OK, but very much of their time and place - not sure about universal appeal

Mind you, Russell Crowe's role in L.A. Confidential makes Gladiator look like a cissy...

The Cameron Diaz movie was "The Sweetest Thing." Pretty damn silly movie, I'm afraid.

Some movies that haven't been mentioned yet...

    - The Color Purple
    - October Sky
    - Josie and the Pussy Cats (the best movie ever... join the army. - if you've seen the movie, you'll get the joke. If you haven't, never mind).
    - Memento
    - American History X

    O.k., I'll stop now.

    Paul
