I'm curious if Amazon is offering contextual ads now? Check at the bottom of this page here at ABW:

If this is possible, can somebody tell me how to create one of these? Thanks!

It's not contextual in the sense it scans the page then offers up ads based on that. It's just one of the ads Amazon offers, not sure which one. They have many different kinds, dynamic ones, ones based on keywords you want etc.

Yea, after looking into it more deeply it seems it's not possible. Wouldn't that be nice if they offered AdSense like, contextual ads? I'd promote them if they finally got around to it.

Yep, it was just cut and paste code "reworked" for the forum and YES it would be cool if they [Amazon] did offer a contextual ad offering.

Amazon contextual ad is available for a long time, even before Google thought about Adsense. More info at http://pages.alexa.com/associates/quicklinks.html.

It's just not as robust as Google.

Wow, this is just what I was looking for KC. Does anybody have any experience with these ads? I'm going to give them a try and see if they're worth while.

After looking into this more closely I have to agree with Vrindavan. This tool isn't very useful, and it can't even produce results for a lot of my pages. Nice try Amazon, when's version 2 coming out?

I just found this which seems pretty interesting:

    http://www.jadebox.com/contextads/page-Home.html

It's a PHP script that generates contextual Amazon ads based on their datafeed. Has anybody tried this or had any luck with it? I'm curious, but I'm not too sure how well it'll convert.
