    CouponCabinToolbar Agent?
So I just registered a domain name and setup Wordpress with one page just awhile ago is less than an hour.

Checked stats real quick using StatPress SEOlution and saw a visit from Google Bot then saw under Last Agents -

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.x) Gecko/20098888 Firefox/3.5.7 GTB6 CouponCabinToolbar

    Anybody know what that is?

Now I did have the Coupon Cabin Toolbar installed awhile back (to test it) but deleted it over a month ago and just to be sure checked my Firefox Add Ons and Plugins and it's not there.

How does stuff like that detect sites that have been live for just a few minutes? I understand the Google Bot since it gets pinged when I make a post, this one I didn't understand.

Can you do a block for the IP(s) used by this Bot?

Probably as far as blocking, don't think it's a big deal or anything was just curious why I was seeing it. Not a site that has any coupons or anything like that. But I removed it tho and don't see any traces of it anywhere.

Is it your IP address? Are you sure it's fully uninstalled?

Ah, I missed the obvious. Yep, it's my IP address, apparently it's not fully uninstalled. No idea what to look for to get rid of it.

Check the Windows Control Panel in Add and Remove programs. I have seen addons that you had to uninstall in there too. Check the Coupon Cabin site and they may have some further uninstall info.

In IE, try Tools / Internet Options, Programs Tab, Manage add-ons. Also, in the Control Panel check in Add/Remove Programs.

Not any of those places. Wonder if it's one of the dll's in the Mozilla Firefox plugins or extensions folder.

Maybe it just changes the User Agent (probably stored somewhere in the registry) and the uninstall doesn't change it back?
