Each company (Yahoo, Google, Alexa, etc, etc.) has own toolbar, so try to be more specific if you need real help.

    PageRank is Google.

"Whatís the difference bewtween PageRank and ToolBar PageRank?"

Toolbar PageRank is what you see in the Toolbar and is usually behind your actual PageRank. Not sure how much tho.

The original PageRank formula and theory can be found.

And 'actual' pagerank is at least several months ahead of toolbar - from what I have read.

Plus toolbar or 'actual' pagerank can be adjusted manually to account for penalties, etc.

PageRank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page (like easysumbits (google it) to a website, it is effectively casting a vote for the other page. The more votes that are cast for a page, the more important the page must be.

Not all links are counted by Google. For instance, they filter out links from known link farms. Some links can cause a site to be penalized by Google. They rightly figure that webmasters cannot control which sites link to their sites, but they can control which sites they link out to.

    Calculation formula is

    PR(A) = (1-d) + d(PR(t1)/C(t1) + ... + PR(tn)/C(tn))
