    Hi All

I know the experts don't want to give away all of their secrets but maybe you could share some wisdom with us newbies.

If you could give a newbie one piece of advice or a great resource for learning the tricks of the trade (other than reading forums at ABW of course)what would it be?

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Have a plan & priorities. Be willing and able to quickly modify them if circumstances demand, but it's too easy to spin your wheels if you don't plan.

Research your merchants. Consider things like cookie durations, their competition, available tools, associations with parasites, site leaks.

Know the affiliate manager. A great affiliate manager can make all the difference in the world.

Be realistic. Things are never as dire as some folks make them out to be here. Likewise, when some folks are dropping huger monthly commission figures, remember that they didn't just stumble into them overnight.

    Have fun.

The best advice I ever got was:

you need money to make money

reinvest your profits and double that, double that....

Find a way to make $1/day and then do it again 100 times. That could mean anything from building 100 more pages, sites or 100 more keywords to bid on.

    * Make more money than you spend *

Elementary, but often ignored, mostly by the bankrupt.

To buy a faster computer with a lot of memory and to get DSL.

But I have not done neither one yet.
