Wife Out of Country for a WHOLE Week :(
My wife just left for Costa Rica until next Wednesday night.

The worst part is that we will hardly get to talk because:

    A. Skype is sketchy on hotel wifi there...probably not even good enough to work at all.
    B. Droids don't work there.
    C. She has an annoying roommate and talking from the hotel sucks.

So, I suppose I will just spend a lot of time at the office doing new graphics finally and running with the dogs alone.

I always rest up when my family leaves for a bit, I push myself too hard. Once, I fell asleep 5pm on friday and woke up on SUNDAY. I slept for 34 hours without waking.

So, enjoy the time, rest up a bit, catch up with a friend, lots of stuff to do on your own.
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

Sounds like you need to raid the Redbox (not sure if you have these where you are but they are a $1 movie rental machine) and stock up on action movies.

    Sorry for the hijack...

Matt, it's great to see that you are going to miss her. I was talking on Skype to someone in Costa Rica a couple of weeks ago and Twitter worked better than Skype!

Take some "guy time" and do some of those things you don't do when she is around. OR record some podcasts! lol.

    Be careful with Redbox.

Dang! sounds delicious but man we are so living in two different worlds!

We're the pasta shells and noodles a la "octopus".

Make shells and noodles according to package.
Cook up a hot dog then cut it starting about 1" down the dog into long thin strips making 6-8 legs (depends on your cutting skills LOL)
Plop the "octopus" on top of the shells spreading the "legs" out
Add dots of catsup for the eyes and a dot of mustard for a nose
Sprinkle some Goldfish crackers in the "sea of seashells" and voila!
    Thanks familyfun magazine!

(for some reason my hubby just doesn't appreciate this meal though ROFLOL! The shrimp ... gotta try that one!)

Just don't make the same mistakes that got you married in the first place.

My wife is heading out Friday to Minneapolis for a long weekend with the girls(Oscar night celebration thing).
I haven't figured out what kind of debauchery I'm going to get into yet. Definitely will be hitting up Redbox for the action and sci-fi movies that I'm 'not allowed' to watch while she is in charge.
I'll probably brew up a toxic batch of hot wings and stock the beer frig
