    Banner sizes for coupons
I'm in the process of building a program and I need to know if there are specific sizes for the coupons. Any idea of what kind of coupons do the affiliates like?
    Please let me know
    Thanks in advance

    Banner sizes I use the most are 88x31, 125x125, 728x90, and 468x60.

My most requested one is the 88x31. Checking sites that have used my 88x31 ones I would guess they want to have more than just text on their sites, but don't want to waste space with large banners so the 88x31's are popular for that.

Best practice is to make ALL standard sizes available. Different webmasters have different needs in that regard depending on their style of design.

do you think that people use coupon banners in all sizes? we have the banners in all sizes, but not the coupons.

Personally, I don't think that's necessary. Obviously, a 88x31 size is not sufficient enough to explain your offer. I tend to stick with 125x125 if I'm using coupon banners. Usually I just use text links for coupons though.

For generics, I like having logos at 88x31 and 120x60 and generic banners at 120x240, 300x250, 468x60, 728x90, 160x600 and 125x125. For promotions, 468x60, 300x250 and either 120x240 or 160x600 (since they don't stay up as long anyway). Ask affiliates what they want, so that you can craft banners in the sizes that fit your top performer's sites.

what meadowmufn said as far as the smaller ones like 88x31. I've only seen those use for branding, can't really see how you would fit any coupon info into something like that. If you scroll to the bottom of - http://www.iab.net/iab_products_and_...1421/1443/1452

you'll see some of the standards being used. There are also some threads around here, trying to find a more recent one. Here is one from a couple of months ago - http://forum.abestweb.com/showthread...ighlight=88x31
