I don't know any stats on it but most sites require cookies to be enabled for you to login and often to purchase so it seems likely that the people (customers) you would care about would have cookies enabled.

An increasing number of merchants have pages in place that let people know that in order to navigate their site correctly, they must have cookies enabled, and they quite often explain what cookies do and how to enable them. So if there were a large number of people with them disabled, as they shop, they will gradually learn that they need to enable them...so hopefully that number keeps getting smaller. (And likely the ones that keep cookies off aren't shoppers anyway.)

    HI

Ouch! I just discovered that less than 10% of my site visitors have cookies enabled.

I assume the other 90% could be buying through my links but that I do not credit for the referrals. Is my assumption correct?

Could this also be a function of link hi-jacking?
If so, how do I determine if this is true and then correct the problem?

I am a techno-idiot and Mac user. My site is template based and I do not have access to source code.

    Insight appreciated
