looking for the over 50 crowd. Any good places to adverise/buy leads?
    Hi,

I would like to advertise to the over 50 crowd. Does anyone know of sites geared to the over 50 crowd that sells advertising? Or, any companies that can sell leads of anyone over 50 years old.

I am also interested in any companies that sell health and life insurance leads.

    Thanks

Thanks. Yes I was just about to post that it appeared to be a UK site and I am looking for US only leads.

I'll take a look at the new site you mentioned, thanks.

    Hi globalmedia,

Eons is a pretty busy social network for Boomers and offers advertising. http://www.eons.com/

With Facebook ads you can target by age and various other demographics.

I don't remember for sure, but I think you can target by age too with Stumbleupon. Their advertising is really cheap but you get what you pay for and the traffic isn't as good as some other sources.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

I have to laugh at that one. I have a fan site for a musician who was most popular in the 70s. My site visitors are almost exclusively over 50; the average ago is probably 55 to 65. My suggestion is that you look for niche sites that would appeal primarily to the age group you are targeting (the AARP site falls in that category, but advertising space there might be expensive), and see if they accept paid advertising.

Think of keywords that seniors would search for and test some PPC on the non-competitive words. "class of 55" "activities for grandkids"
