    Is it true that google do not like anything ending with .biz or.tv and you are less likley to get a good ranking if you have a site ending in the above or is that not hold true any longer.

    Doing a quick search on Google i don't see a problem with it, i'm seeing .biz and .tv sites ranking fine and the ones i checked have nice PRs. So as far as the search engines go, i don't see a problem. I think there is a misconception that they do because a lot of spammers like the .biz type of domains and use those as throwaways. .biz not very good if you're trying to build up a site as a brand and they're not easy to remember but can rank very well in the search engines.
