    EverestNutrition Commission Rate 0%
    I got this e-mail today:

    This is an automated notification regarding a commission change for the EverestNutrition.com ShareASale Affiliate Program.

    This merchant has made a change to their default commission rate.

    Previous Per Sale Commission: 30.00%
    New Per Sale Commission: 0.00%

    If you have any questions regarding this change, you should contact the merchant via your ShareASale account.

    Time to drop them if you are one of their affiliates.

    Shareasale should not allow this to happen. A merchant should not be able to drop the commission to 0%.

    0% commission is impossible to justify.

    their program has gone direct.

    +++++++++++++++++

    I want to raise your commission to 35% today and get you a $10 cash bonus right away. All you have to do to receive this increase, is switch over to our new in-house affiliate program RIGHT now.

    Please be reminded as has been communicated over the last few months that Everest has been transitioning its affiliate program off of the awesome Shareasale network. Bringing it in house allows us to manage it more closely and pass some of the savings we incur from this change, onto you, starting the minute you switch out your links with increased commission and your reactivation/transition bonus. Act now to ensure your links do not experience any interruption in tracking once the SAS program is shut down.

    To begin your transition and receive this instant increase plus bonus, visit the link below but act now. The Terms & Conditions of our affiliate program remain the same as those here on Shareasale.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    this from March 12

    They had multiple emails before switching the commission rate to 0%, anyway, they were not paying commissions anymore. So no pb with this one.
    I think they are making a mistake leaving SAS but it's an other problem.

    If they are leaving Shareasale, then there should not be an e-mail stating that the default commission is now 0%

    There should just be an e-mail stating that the program is closing.

    I've a mixed feeling. The system can be abused. We saw it before.
    3 emails were sent. They could have reversed all commissions after MAR 15.
    The system makes it easy for them to keep their merchant account balance.
    It's also the ultimate reminder for their affiliates.

    If they're not tracking or paying commissions on SAS, the program should be closed there.

    Big mistake, IMHO, but it's their decision.

    You're right, it should be closed ASAP. As long as they have money in their account, their links will be tracked by SAS but not paid. The SAS redirect will not work if the program is active. Not good.
