    I really like www.colorschemer.com, www.colourlovers.com and www.kuler.com for coming up with web site palettes. Picking a primary color for your site is not the challenge - its finding two more colors that complement it that is often when people miss the mark.

    Those are all great sites (kuler is under construction). How many colors do you usually use? I sometimes think I keep things too basic.

    Shoppers determine what has value and they like coupons. Stop manipulating who set the cookie just because you do not like coupon and promotional sites.

    You have options: mono, complement, triad, tetrad, analogic, and accented analogic

    @Leeann, I guess the amount of colors depend upon the layout. There can be more than one answer to that

    I would guess 3 colors max?
    It depends on the design and the effect you would like the design to have on the viewer.
