    What is your site worth?
I stumbled across this site and had a look to see what my site is worth and it was not good but interesting.

It must be broken. I input a site of mine, all pieces of info it gave were wrong, including the google PR.

Yeah - pretty messed up. I tried one that had an indicted PR of zero (0) yet showed 357,000 backlinks. Wazzup wit dat?

Tools like this (even when they aren't clearly broken) are inherently flawed. Domains, like many things, are only worth what someone will pay for it. It could tell you your site is "worth" ten grand, but if you can't find anyone willing to pay that amount, then it's not really worth ten grand. That's the trouble with trying to sell something based on scarcity. It's the same with baseball cards, stamps, comics or coins. When there's a million of a thing, it's easy to set a price and expect people to pay it. When scarcity comes into play, it's far more difficult.

A lot of domainers use sites like - http://www.estibot.com/

to value their domains but many realize that sites like that, the one above and any other that try to give you a value for your site or domain, are pretty much worthless.

I tried a bunch of these sites and got anywhere from $500 to $10000 for my site. Not too accurate I think.
