Why don't you try both and see what returns a postive ROI?

I would like to suggest SEO. You don't need to invest huge amount for hiring SEO company or you can do it alone. In case of buying traffic I don't know whether there is any fix ratio of lead conversion or not. But it will cost more than SEO.

Buying traffic with PPC will get you faster results to start testing. Each keyword you advertise on and each search engine you advertise on will deliver a different quality of leads.

SEO is great if you can get high rankings, but the traffic might not come for awhile - if ever. The education field is especially competitive so SEO might take awhile and require great efforts.

If you have a budget you can invest there's no reason not to buy traffic. But seeing that your pages are about education I think SEO may be the better tactic, in terms of conversions. Organic traffic will more than likely be higher for this type of thing than bought traffic. Why dont you buy to get some income going for the short term but in the meantime you focus on SEO and moving up the ranks in google (via backlinks).

I would first try a ppc campaign for different keywords and if you see that you are getting positive Roi then stick with it.
Getting traffic from SEO could take months or years depending on your ability to gain back-links for your pages.

If your site or page optimize for search engine then all traffic will be targeted traffic!

Go for both PPC and SEO. Then you are able to compare the ROI
And if you are doing great job on SEO, it might save your PPC cost in future

PPC can get costly if you don't know what you are doing. I would recommend using yahoo instead of Google to begin with. Search for yahoo sponsored search coupons, you can get some free advertising! If you focus on SEO it will take longer but the traffic you get is long lasting and very targeted.

Work on SEO, try to make good quality backlinks, and also working on article submission; have in mind that it takes time. Look further for PPC.

SEO is good but you need to have good knowledge on SEO, else you will never get any traffic although you work on it for years

    Buy Leads
Why dont you just buy leads instead of attempting to generate them yourself. The company I work for sells leads as well as hundreds of other companies. It take a long time for SEO to kick in.

You should emphasize on SEO at first and after some earnings, you can buy some traffic.

    Good Luck!
