I'm down. The main reason I think is the way Google is handling product searches since the first of the year. All of my organic action on long tail product searches has vanished. Looking at the first page of Google shows why.

Seems like the big spenders are back in town. My average commission size is around normal. I kept the same numbers of sales last year but the $amount was depressing. I can see a $177 commission coming as I'm writing this. That's getting better.

I very much agree with this John. My Awords placements have also been affected by Google's changes. I'm being crowded out by product images, Google affiliate links, Google price comparison.

That being said, I'm working harder on marketing this year and the big spenders are back, so I am seeing gains. I'm just having to work harder for the money.

I'm afraid Google is dead set on monetizing all product related searches in a manner that will put us out of business. I keep expecting Google Product Search to become PPC. Then Google can let their product price comparison really dominate the serps.

I see them zeroing in on the best converting keywords.... Not good.

Merchants, any data you provide to Google Shopping should also be in your affiliate network datafeed. More data means more sales!
