May 4th, 2010, 09:45 AM #1Remove
Tag in WordPress?
By default, WP comes with an
tag that is set to the text for 'Blog Title' under the General Setting stab. If you customize WP and replace the text with an Image/Logo, you are really losing the benefit of the
tag on the main page and all post pages.
So is it wise to add your own Image/Logo and keep the
tag? Then you would have both a text and image representation of your blog title. That doesn't seem wise.
How do you customize your blog with an image/logo and still keep the seo benefit of the
tag?

Just to change the subject I would want the post titles to be H1 and the blog title on the homepage and all subpages could be H2 or H3.
Then you dont have to worry about the blog title as much.
And as on most websites WP or otherwise you should only have one H1 per page.

Not sure it's just this template, but it looks like all of the pages have multiple
tags. The 'blog title' is an
and the 'post title' is an
on the post pages.
