    Hi

Just surfing over to an affiliate site and got a pop up from my norton saying that my computer had the trojan horse virus...

I have updated my virus software, am running another scan now and it only happens when I visit this one site... It also happens from my other computer that I NEVER use for work or much of anything.
Is it possible that there is something on this affiliate site causing this? I am sure its not deliberate but I need to get it resolved if any of you have any ideas.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Adam

I read the other thread and the articles on the virus... I have called the affiliate and left a message but I guess I am not savvy enough to know if my computer is now swiss cheese and I am screwed?

Does anyone have an idea of how to get this out when norton says it can't be repaired?

    thank you very much.

If you have Windows XP, the system restore feature seems like it works wonders ... I don't know how many operating systems have this, but I found out about it a couple of weeks ago. After I got hit by something that Norton and Spybot couldn't clean up, I just restored my system to it's settings from a few days earlier, and now everything is OK again.

Well I did a full scan on both computers and it found nothing so maybe its a scare tactic?

Who knows. I will go about my day and see what unfolds.

    Thank you for your help!
