    Jury Duty Tomorrow
I won't be around during the day tomorrow because I have jury duty. I enjoy doing my civic duty, but I sure wish the timing would have been better. I'm still not caught up from the myriad of other things that have happened this year.

Keep the iPhone on "silent" and keep an eye on ABW every once in a while. Undoubtedly there are courtroom rules about cell phone use for texting and/or talking. But I'll bet there is nothing there about "moderating."

Here's wishing you a good day. If you are empaneled - I hope it is an interesting case.

    Nice one Jimmy.

I have never had jury duty for some reason. Not complaining though.

Make the best of it Michael.

I have to go in for Jury Duty on Monday. I've never done it before so I'm kind of interested to see how it all works.

Been called 3 times. First one the trial was cancelled (plea bargained), second one found him guilty, third one I was excused because I had met the defendant a couple times and said I couldn't be unbiased (since he was a jerk).

We had to either leave our cell phones in the car or turn them over to the bailiff. No cell phones allowed in the courtroom. In fact, you weren't even allowed to have one turned on in the courthouse building. Of course that was 4 years ago so they may have lightened up a little since then.

Ended up being released without having to serve, but had a super busy weekend so I'm just getting back online for the first time since Friday morning and trying to get caught up.
