    I remember reading that it can be done via apache (and presumably MS) rewrite. Maybe make it display a message telling them that the site is in business, and Norton interferes with that by blocking ads.

    Cookies and ads are our bread and butter and if they disable everything, what's the use? Who knows....if we all stick together, maybe these people will presure Norton and make some changes. Our livelyhood is at stake.

    what do you think?

    I don't think that would be a good idea. What is the point of it? I think it would be done purely out of spite and would cause almost no alarm to Norton.

    Your site visitors don't care about your problems. They want to buy stuff and if they can't get it from you they will go elsewhere.
