    There is a website that I ocassionally run across, tons of pages about different merchants. Most of them PR 6 and up. However, the root of the site [www.somewebsite.com] is for forbidden, it can not been viewed? How does a site like this retain it's PR and rank high in the SERP's for nearly all of it's doorway pages? It also has no links going out other than the merchants, would this be how the PR is retained? Quite odd if you ask me...........

    Could all the pages be PPC doorways with no interlinking?
